Rose Lane
Rose Lane runs south from the High Street as far as the entrance to Christ Church Meadow. On the east side is the side of the Botanic Garden, and on the west side is Magdalen College Gate House and south of that buildings belonging to Merton College.
This lane was in the parish of St Peter-in-the-East.
In the seventeenth century Rose Lane was known as Trinity Lane.
